The governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has tested positive for COVID-19.
The news was released yesterday evening by the Commissioner for health.
He was said to have been in contact with a confirmed case, and then had a PCR done on Friday 11th December 2020.
The governor is currently in isolation.
This information is coming after we were alerted over a second wave of the COVID-19 spread in Nigeria.
Lagos has since remained the epicentre of COVID-19 infections with 24,614 cases and 1,069 currently active cases as of yesterday.
