Obaseki replaces commissioner who resigned earlier today

The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has approved the appointment of Mr. Stewart Efe as the state’s new Commissioner for Communication and Orientation.

This is coming after Mr. Paul Ohonbamu resigned from the position earlier on Thursday.

Ohonbamu in his letter of resignation said he left the cabinet for the good of Edo people and thanked Obaseki for the privilege given to him to serve in his government.

The new appointment was made known by the Secretary to the Government, Osarodion Ogie, in a statement in Benin City.

He said: “The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has approved the appointment of Mr. Stewart Efe as Commissioner for Communication and Orientation. His appointment takes immediate effect.”

Before his appointment, Efe Stewart was the Public Relations Officer, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Uselu, Benin City..
